Consumer interest in the role food plays in supporting immunity is strong within today’s COVID19 environment. The Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code enables immunity claims to be made for products containing sufficient amounts of any one of ten different nutrients. These nutrients are present naturally in a wide variety of food and beverage products meaning the opportunity to create immunity related product claims that appeal directly to an area of immediate consumer concern is high. This webinar will raise awareness and understanding about the link between nutrients and the immune system and assist food scientists gain clarity around identifying and developing health related claims linking their products to immunity. In this session, you will learn:

· The nutrients that enable immunity related claims to be made.
· How to identify whether your product contains the right types and amounts of immunity related nutrients to enable a claim.
· Regulatory considerations when developing claims.
